Rep.Stephanie Tubbs Jones died this evening from a Brain Aneurysm, The Music tonight is dedicated to her and her 28 years of Service

I have only been here for 2 years, and don't fully understand Ohio Politics ( which tends to be messy...and confusing). But I was very impressed with her and her 28 years of service to this State and this Community. She was too young, and died so fast from a massive Brain Aneurysm, she was on live support for about 18 hours and her organs were donated per her wishes. Condolences and prayers to her son, family and friends.

thanks one and all..

She worked all day, she was getting ready for the convention ( and yes she was a superdel- and she was going to cast her vote for Obama) ...and was driving home at 9pm...thank heavens the police saw her car drifting...but so sad that she did not get to say goodbye...that it was sooooo sudden..and that she had such a hard year with the loss of her husband and her mom....but may be she with them now....

so young...so sad...

namaste....

( is it just me- or are they getting younger ?)

Sad indeed. And during an election year.

Very sad. Brain aneurysms are so scary - they seem to hit people in their 40's and 50's and give no warning. The sister of a friend of ours died of one at age 47; someone I knew at work died at age 40; and a friend's father died at age 58 back when I was in college. All too young.

Stephanie Tubbs will be greatly missed.

I saw her speak in Dayton in 2004. What a wonderful, wonderful woman.

Hi Enigma ...

Wanted to stop by and express my sympathy for Cleveland's loss even though she originally supported Billary. May she rest in peace.

On an upbeat note I hope your relocation search is making progress. Tampa area is nice with easy access to beaches but it's prone to hurricanes. Also, the Oregon coastline is livable with lots of small artsy communities and easy access to Portland.

All the best to you and your son. Write me if can help.

Peace,
Cosmic
