This is Thanksgiving Friday, this is the weekend that you curl up , eat popcorn and watch movies, from Hitchcock to Bond to cheesy movies that I never saw in the theater. Thank You Netflix and Cable....Here is some Friday Night Music....Went to many concerts by this fella...He can play guitar and melt anyone's heart. Curl up watch movies and listen to some good music.

We must be the only people who are not heeding the siren call of consumerism and engaging in this ridiculous "Black Friday" debacle.

I went and saw the movie "Mist" which I have wanted to see made into a movies since i rad the story in 1985. It was quite good but not for the squeamish.

You see Enigma if I hadn't started a political blog I would have started a movie fan blog (It would probably get a lot more hits too.)And then instead of trying to educate people about George Bush and his insane policies I would spend all of my time watching movies.

OH!! This photo is astounding! And it reminds me that I dreamt last night of gees flying. Just one and I was sure there would be more, so I craned my head to look, thinking he was on point, but no; he flew alone, and I felt indescribably sad. Hmmm...
Namaste, my friend

Thorne: back around halloween geese flew over our house ( I think they were late- but what do I know- I am not a geese..)anyways...the cat, dog and I all tried to look at the window at them...beautiful...( but the moon has a misty glow just like that night).....

Anon: you too friend...take it easy for a day or two..

Gryphen:ahhhh so you saw the Mist...I hope to see it when it comes on DVD...( I think I did read that a long time ago...long enough that I don't remember the ending...).....a movie blog- that would be fun...but don't you dare give up your great blog now....

Okay ....back to playing Free Rice...( my son and I turned it into Feed a Village...just kidding..kind of..)

Are you playing the Free Rice game at Jamie's Durward Discussion? EK & I have been competing all afternoon. I keep making it up to Level 44 before getting knocked back by some insane word. Fun!

Glad you are enjoying "Free Rice". It was a recent discovery and I'm totally hooked. Best I've done so far is 45 and I bounced out lower on some truly odd word.

Have a wonderful weeked totally divorced and immune from the rantings of "Shop Shop Shop Till You Drop!"

I'll join you with the Fleetwood Mac

E4e, you're so right-on. Sometimes we have no opportunity to help those who have helped us, but we can pass it on to another.

You always pick the best music - things I had forgotten about. You really should have been a DJ :-)

I hope you're having a nice, relaxing weekend, I think you've earned it.

I'm having a "blobby" weekend too. Right now I'm watching "Julian Po" with Christian Slater. It's strange, but good.

Cheers,
Josie
