There are good things about Rain....it is just hard to remember that....so in the midst of the Storm....have a Good Saturday Night...find someone to slow dance..and be with...or just take a nice long walk......or eat Cold Chinese and admire the moon.....just take care of each other...tomorrow I will have new posts up...and the Wellstone Awards.

Hi enigma, thanks for the music. Take care until tomorrow and remember to be safe.
thanks Let talk...don't worry...I am fine...you take care of you too...this has been some kind of August...
( my battery died - so son and I are sharing the cord...which means that I can only be on computer a few hours today...so bummed...but tomorrow..I will be back in gear...) take care..
i am glad that you have power and whatnot. i saw on the news that your neck of the woods is getting hammered by the gods of summer. stay safe- and enjoy the summer rain. :) oh- and we here in the northeast would thank you very much to not send us your craptastic weather :)
Keep the faith, enigma.
Thank you for the music! :)
Stay safe out of those storms!
Suzie: I will , don't worry...it is calm ..for now...all of us are sick of rain...glad you liked the music...
No Blood: Always friend...always...you too..
Betmo: I hope and pray that it is not headed your way....and that this lets up- for everyone's sake...
This has been a strange year weather wise, and look out winter.

enigma
as long as it is not excessive like everything seems to be today reain is beautiful. at least it is not the intense heat you had. i wrote about it a week ago and around the country people are either drowning or burning up.
on kos people around the world piped up with their local environmental horror. it was quite telling. anyway what i was going to say is i just love rainy overcast days. they are very soothing and condusive to reflection.
I don't like going out in the rain unless I have too. And if its pouring rain I don't like being on the road driving.
There is always some cowboy who thinks you can still do 40 miles an hour in rain when you can not even see your hand in front of you.
Now a slow steady drizzle is something different. It soothes the soul and makes one lazy. Those are nap days to relax and catch up on ones rest.
Take care enigma and...
God Bless.
I've been to the hell of which you speak . . .
Now is a much better place to be . . . here and now, at one with the divine flow . . .
Namaste . . .
Ahhh! It is so nice to come over here and see such pleasant musings.
Over at my side of the net I am, once again, walking down the path of darkness. So coming over here is a nice little reality check.
I worked in my yard again as well and am beginning to find it more soothing then in times past. Fragrant flowers, dewy grass, and trees reaching for the sky. Bad guys may come and go but nature is eternal.
Nurse, what is this "rain" you speak of? --Newsguy, Los Angeles.
Yeah...we could use some rain in California that's for sure.
Newsguy and Sumo: I am so sorry about no rain your way...I would love to send you some...
Gryphen: I am going to have to come up there and make sure you don't go down that path...please ;-)
I loved what you said about Nature being Eternal...love that...
Ocean Shaman: I do believe you...and I know we can bring Harmony back to this Country...as long as we take care of each other during these Dark Times...
Anony: I love the Rain..always have,. just don't like storms or tornados and seeing my garden ripped apart by Monsoon Rains...awful...
Patriot: you rest up while it is stormy out there and get that arm to heal..thanks for all that you do and for your support...
AZ: thanks for being here...and rain or shine always nice to see you....
Larry: I think our weather is a mess...and has been so strange this year...
Can you tell me who D Creech is? Author? Poet? I first heard this statement in an interview with Wynona Judd- I did not know she was quoting someone.
