Thank you Enigma & Dusty & Sumo & Diva & the other Sirens for being strong women with the voices our country needs to hear from to get back on The Path. I've got a friend totally disabled by kidney failure now who was turned down for Medi-Cal (calif version of medicare for those under 65) because she bought a house a few yrs ago. She says they told her the only way she would qualify for any aid is if her 15-yr old daughter were pregnant. Is this what our healthcare system amounts to? Telling your teenage daughter to go get laid so you can get some medical assistance? We need to keep shining a spotlight on this issue. It is FUBAR. ~~ D.K.
