"It is every man's obligation to put back into the world at least the equivalent of what he takes out of it."

If this is true, we all owe a lot!

The church in that day may have stated that the earth was flat; however, the bible doesn't. Example: Isaiah 40:22 reads "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth...".

Here's a great definition of wisdom which also contains wisdom!

from Doc Childre and Deborah Rozman:

"It is no longer enough to be smart -- all the technological tools in the world add meaning and value only if they enhance our core values, the deepest part of our heart. Acquiring knowledge is no guarantee of practical, useful application. Wisdom implies a mature integration of appropriate knowledge, a seasoned ability to filter the inessential from the essential."

More wisdom,

A fart is but a lonely cry from an imprisoned turd.

Let'e get it going, we need it now or we are quickly going to be in serious trouble.

I disappoint myself as I pride myself on words of wisdom but you just made me draw a blank. I will come up with something eventually.

"Inspiration comes forth from within. It's what the light burning within
you is about, as opposed to motivation, which is doing it because if you
don't do it, there will be negative repercussions. Motivation is making
myself do something that I don't really want to do. Inspiration is
having the clear picture of what I am wanting -- and letting Universal
forces come into play to get the outcome".

Well, today was a vet day for me … as in take the dogs to the vet today & marvel at all those wonderful dogs lined up in the vet waiting room, so happy to be out with their owners, even if the trip includes poking needles & thermometers up the butt.

So, here is a bit of dog wisdom: Dogs demonstrate that we don’t have to wait for a special day or party in order to celebrate. Dogs are ready every moment of their lives – in an instant – to throw a celebration. For a dog, no event in life is too small to celebrate. My dogs, for example, eat the same meal at approximately the same time every night. The way my dogs celebrate this impending meal would make one think that it was the greatest feast day of the year!
~~ from Lesson 17, of “Dogs Don’t Bite When a Growl will do”

Sorry...I had to delete the previous comment to add to it.

Here's my best quote:
"PT gets my vote" (see you on the other side of the barricades, buddy!)

As for the dogs, these are the lessons they have taught me:

1. Bark at strangeness (this is why I started my blog)

2. Eat whenever food's proffered.

3. If it smells "good," roll in it.

4. Take lots of naps.

5. Wag your tail - it disarms people making it easier to bite them later.

6. For fun, learn a trick, then forget it when your master wants to show it off to the company.
