Reverand Al Sharpton is Saying It.Later tonight I will be posting some Music to honor the end of this year 2006. Take care of Yourselves and be Safe.

* Thank you DK for this beautiful New Yorker Cover*

That is a beautiful cover. That looks like the other Enigma Cafe. Have you been there lately?

I watched excerpts from a great Al Sharton/James Brown interview from 1980 on Democracy Now yesterday. Check it out. (democracynow, org)

thanks

Sorry I've been so scarce lately. I see you've been busy here. Yes, I'm tired of all the Fordorama, Sadamalama, Iraqidrama, Bushdung. I love the little New Year's party hats being sported in The New Yorker cover! Wish I could find a clearer picture of it online. Maybe some Lucky Person will find & link it here. I wonder if a bigger version would show any of them cracking a smile, if that wouldn't ruin the effect. I can tell that redhead has a sense of humor. You'd think one of those guys at the counter could tap into that ... knock her offguard just before he plants a big old new year's midnight smooch. ~~ D.K.

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S to you Enigma.

In my estimation, you're one of the most respected, admired Blogger's on the 'Net. An inspiration for us all.

I consider you a true online friend and Email correspondent.

The Cafe is always friendly and warm when you're around. I tell everyone I encounter in the online community to add you to their Blogroll, feedreader or bookmark links.

Look forward to working alongside you in the blogging community to keep our audiences informed about current events throughout 2007. :)

Peace,

Yawn...waking up from last night's New Year's Eve's eve party...four cups of coffee and twenty-eight leftover cocktail shrimp later it's over to the 24/7 Cafe Enigma, to edge up on a stool with the others there as I wonder, "Is that a Phrygian cap the soda counter jerk's wearing?"

"How revolting!" I tell myself, only I don't hear me because my eyes have been captured by the lovely redhead 'neath a chartreuse New Year's party hat sitting across from me. But she doesn't notice. Everyone's so glum. Like they've all just come from a funeral or something.

Oh Enigma....dear....thank you for that little prodding over to Dada's....but I'm not sure of which you're referring (grin)....(I've added a couple more)....maybe it was "Reconnecting with fine art, the slow cooking of Frogs and hats as a statement of fashion (or other stuff)"? Not to matter.....you are absolutely the greatest....tonight the place to be is ENIGMA'S CAFE!...and, I must tell you....you look extra alluring in your NY's eve party dress. I can't wait for the music to begin. There's gonna be dancing in the streets before tonight's over!
