Hey, great show! I saw Leon Russell & Joe C in Vegas in early-early 70's. super tight horn section. Joe left about half-way through the set (actually stumbled off stage). Leon & his back-up singers continued with some honky-tonk louisiana blues & blew the house down. It was a double-header show, the lead act was The Eagles. Now two more different acts you will never see & The Eagles suffered by comparison. But they ended with Witchy Woman, so it turned out OK. Here is the thing about this song...I was greatly underage...and spent New years Eve back in the 70's at a steamy bar in Baltimore called " No Fish Today" and we sang this song on NYE...( enigma has a little past at the No Fish...put it this way...never underestimate what happens to Do-Wop girls...)
