My friends just called this morning, they have been on a cruise to San Juan..they said the people there were so excited too. All kinds of reactions coming in. They are bringing me some things they picked up there with Obama all over it...lol

Really a nice global perspective... from Kenya to the luncheon, etc.
This election is particularly touching for those who endured the Civil rights movement.... where people posted NO BLACKS signs in store windows, and discrimination was widely accepted. I saw a clip of an elderly woman who had fallen to her knees, so happy , but weeping for all that transpired to get here, and also this lifting of burden." My son can do anything", she said with tears of joy. A racial ceiling/barrier has been broken. This elevates hope and possibility.

"I can't even find the words" she said ~ overwhelmed.
