How sweet the sound!
On day one. Music to my ears.

He also did this:

One of President Barack Obama's first acts is to order federal agencies to halt all pending regulations until his administration can review them.

The order went out Tuesday afternoon, shortly after Obama was inaugurated president, in a memorandum signed by new White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel. The notice of the action was contained in the first press release sent out by Obama's White House, and it came from deputy press secretary Bill Burton.

The waning days of former President Bush's administration featured much debate over what rules and regulations he would seek to enact before he left office.

Yay Obama! Do NOT trust the Shrub. Yes!

He said he was going to ... like I said.. Promise Kept...he is certainly hitting the ground running. Hope now some of the ones who were so sure he wasn't going to do these things will start cooking that crow...lol He also has a meeting today with the Joint Chiefs to start getting the plans laid to withdraw troops from Iraq. I think it is sometime this afternoon.

One more thing, I have to say Terror Crimes have been prosecuted here in the US before- so why do we or did we ever need Gitmo ?

or any secret prisons ?
or was it just so they could torture ?
