Favorite Moments of Inauguration Day, Michelle and Barack Get Out and Walk the Route

Awesome and Beautiful.....7 Minutes of Wonderful....CBS lets you listen to the Crowd...and watch....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And then Tonight....Dancing to Beyonce...singing " At Last"....It was the perfect song....for this moment in time.
(( Click the title...The Stevie Wonder InaugBall Version of Signed,Sealed, Delivered.....really nice to see them dancing together ))
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And yes, the Swearing in Moment....this CNN video also shows Millions of people rejoicing at the same time....but as soon as he put his hand on Lincoln's Bible...I felt like we could Breath again...That Our Country was in his strong capable hands....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Even though 6-6 and I did not get to DC....These moments I watched with wonder, pride and hope.I could finally take a deep breath and feel that we are a Real Country again...People allowed to stand on the streets and cheer their president and he is able and willing to wave back with his wife by his side.....and watching him take the Oath, how he was gracious, and humble when Roberts mangled it, and how he embraced the moment with his hand on Lincoln's Bible.But how through it all he was still a Husband and a Dad, the little girls had a platform to stand on so they could see him sworn in, and how he hugged them right away.
Another favorite part of the day, was watching Barack and Michelle stand and watch the Parade, every last bit of it, together in the Viewing Box. They were the Last Ones there, and even though it did look warm, they STOOD the entire time, waving and acknowledging each and every Band and float.....Grambling Band from LA.,Lawn Rangers to the Gay Band from NYC, to Peace Corp Group, to the Carnivale group from Texas, to 8 Different Indian Nation Marchers and Riders and Drummers, they were more than gracious, they were excited, enthusiastic and Welcoming.
Watching ALL of the people being allowed to be a part of the Moment, cheering and joyful....In my lifetime I have never seen such massive Joy, Relief and. Pride....Love shared between millions...and yes, even though these are very Hard Times....Hope.
And in many ways it was not just Obama's Inauguration, it was OUR Inauguration.....WE THE PEOPLE have OUR Country back....
It's a New Day....
All the announcers on ABC were all about security, blah, blah, blah when the Obamas walked part of the route twice. Then one of them made mention of them only walking for 8 minutes then 7 minutes...
Fifteen minutes of walking on frozen asphalt streets in those heels must have been KILLING her feet - why were those talking heads surprised they went back into the limo???
I love the history of it...that they knew that the people had waited to see them and they had to honor that...and yeah, the mediapunditheads really need a class how to REPORT again and not make stupid comments...and yeah, 3 inch heals ...and it was very cold....15 degrees....and all those people waited ( not that the punditheads would comment on that....or that the city was filled with millions and not a single arrest- pretty amazing...I mean all those "radical extremists" gathering and celebrating and NO problems ...LOL...those peace loving liberals came to town and actually loved being there...and seeing Obama...)
and yeah...History...and we got to see it...
Hey all....
wow....
