As Americans who still want to see Prosecution pursued of the Last Administration for Torture, we should write Leahy and Holder...

Leahy at the Holder Hearings on Waterboarding and Torture January 2009,

Holder " No One is above the Law"

definitely we need to keep the pressure on! Sen. Feingold is a big supporter of accountability.

It was nice to hear from President Obama today that he is open to an investigation

I can breathe a sigh of relief now - I knew he was a good and decent man, but I was starting to worry that for some reasons that we would have no way of knowing he might try to sweept this all under the carpet

I too share your worried Lady...
we are in uncharted territories...
it is one thing to have Watergate....
this is an entirely different matter....but yeah we
need to keep the heat on....just keep siting the videos and statements and documents...let's let the Evidence PILE up ( that should not be hard...)

Slightly OT, have ou heard about the movie "The Obama Deception"? It's some guy who used to do exposes on Bush trying to show how non partisan he is. Sheesh. I feel like Barack a) never said he was going to excute the Bushites and b) has been in office for 3 months. Sigh....

yeah I heard about the Obama deception....I think the bottem line is he has been in office for 3 months...yup and about the torture issue- it's like a cat in a room full of rockers....it's beyond tenous- mostly thanks to the stupid sick repugs that think the torture was needed - oye...

He does not want to be THE president that prosecutes another president.....but the lawyer in him has to know that this is a mess...this is unchartered territory...so now we will see if Holder has a spine...

see here's the thing- if we had McCain as Pres- it would continue...that is the sickness of it...
and the Whole Damn World is Watching....

me - I went to see Obama twice with my son- I want him to live up to his promises about Closing Gitmo and restoring Justice and OUR Constitution.....

Personally E i think it wise that the administrative branch is taking a step back from investigating and prosecuting (maybe) the actions of the bush/cheney administration.

It should fall to the legislative branch to pursue this highly politicized history. Let the nation continue to move and let the process work (fingers crossed)

I agree walking man- I think the bigger problem is that Holder has not even worked to fix or ascertain how broken the JD is....

I too have fingers crossed...very much so...

thanks...always like to know what you think...
